Dinner En Blanc

Diner En Blanc
"All white everything" is the idea behind the annual Diner en Blanc which is French for "Dinner In White." The first dinner was held by Parisian Francois Pasquier, when he returned from a trip abroad and wanted to hold a dinner party to reconnect with friends. His guest list was so long that the best plausible solution was to hold a dinner at the Bois de Boulogne with guests dressed in all white so that they can find each other. Since then Lyon, Amsterdam, Munich, Zurich, Berlin, Montreal and as of last year, New York; have all adopted the tradition. The dinners are mostly exclusive and feature food of course along with dancing and all white decor. [Photo via] [Go here for our coverage of last year's first dinner in New York]
