8. Marc Jacobs is releasing a new cosmetics line with Sephora, as well as a new "sister perfume" to best sellers Daisy and Lola. The new fragrance, Dot, comes in a lady-bug-like bottle adorned in large black polka dots, and is expected to hit stores this spring. But ladies, don't expect this new perfume to be flowery like its predecessors. Dot can be thought of as the grown up sister perfume, as it holds notes of driftwood and musk.
Marc Jacobs described his new ladybug perfume.
"A dot is timeless and a pattern I always love, and round shapes are always beautiful. I liked the idea of these hybrid butterfly-ladybugs, which suggest a sort of free spirit and femininity and playfulness. And, of course, ladybugs mean good luck."
