[Photo via] My God do these Hamptons people read. Well, maybe read isn't the word, but they sure like attending events that have something to do with books. Fashion, dating, veganism...the variety of books promoted out here might be hinting at something other than literature. I enjoy reading but I never realized how many possible book signings and author events could not only fit into one month but receive a large turnout. It must either be the fact that people out here can finish a book faster than I can finish a GofG post or they weren't invited to any other events because why else would you want to be one in the crowded bookstore?
