Where did you grow up and how did you start cooking?
My father was a diplomat, so I grew up in many places. I started cooking very young, not just cooking but baking in my mother's tradition. When I was eight, I bought a little cookbook for children, and there was a recipe for marble cake in there. I don't have the cookbook still unfortunately, but I will know the recipe for marble cake probably until the day I die.[Photo via]
