Other details:Joan and George Hornig hosted an elegant event at their estate in Watermill. One could not ask for a more perfect evening, with the unbelievable weather and breathtaking gardens on the estate. Partnered with the Peconic Bay Keeper, the “Celebration of Our Bays” event was aimed at raising funds to support their clean water initiative. Praised guest author Annie Falk was in attendance signing copies of her acclaimed book,Hamptons Entertaining,to help the cause. Notable attendees included some of the Hamptons most influential names including Victoria and Minot Amory, Raysa and Alfy Fanjul, Noreen and Thomas Roth, and Cynthia Sulzberger and Steven Green. Guests were treated to performances by local singer, Dennis O’ Conner, fresh hors d’oeuveres, and exceptional cocktails. Special thanks to ZYR Russian Vodka, Blue Point Draft Beer and Wölffer Estate Vineyard’s wine for their involvement. The night concluded with the results of a silent auction, all of the proceeds going to the clean water initiative. The whole evening was an event not to be missed with great people supporting a great cause!
