Celine Mo:We first met in college at NYU. He was in finance at the time and I had just started working in art galleries. We lost touch for a bit but then reconnected again post-college when I found out he had started his own gallery. I really loved his roster of artists and really admired the courage he had for starting out on his own. Eventually, we started working on projects together, such as the "From the Land of Everywhere" exhibition this past summer, and found that we worked really well together with the same vision and eye for aesthetics. We decided to combine forces and that's how Victori + Mo got started. As with every relationship, each person won't agree on everything, but we generally agree on what artists we like and what to show. My favorite piece that sold during the fair was a large Gregory Hayes work called "Color Array #1". You can really see the meticulous nature of the artist and the colors are fantastic.
