That being said, you won't be disappointed by this Israeli husband and wife team (and ex-Ottolenghi/Nopi chefs!), Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer's hotspot. The small, 10-table cafe prepares home-style Middle Eastern food, and, since it's 2012 opening, has garnered top reviews from London's toughest food critics (including the GofG London team). Don't let the casual feel of the restaurant fool you. Getting a reservation at this soul food restaurant is tough, and, to be safe, you should make a reservation before you get into town.
