"Best $2k I Ever Spent!" The Jesus And Mary Chain Rock Alongside The Horse Races At Hollywood Park

There's a few different ways a not-entirely-in-their-prime band can choose to view a gig headlining a post-race Friday night concert at a horse track in Inglewood. Naturally, for a band band that's played high profile sets at Lollapalooza and Coachella like Scottish post-punkers The Jesus & Mary Chain, one understandable reaction would be that this is a letdown. Then again, if you were in JAMC, a band that could have ended in murder-suicide several times over their tumultuous career, you could call the fact that the brothers Reid are happy, (relatively) healthy and still playing a pretty major accomplishment unto itself. Let's take a look.
