So what's the bottom line on Lana Del Rey? Probably that you should withhold the bulk of your judgment, positive or negative, until the album comes out at the end of January. Is she the next queen of pop music, a failure of marketing over substance, or something else entirely?

Ugh, I can't help it. Im bored to death. It's like "daddy, buy me a hit record" oh "and I'm cross eyed!" Okay, she probably didn't say the second part, but hasn't anyone noticed???? The droning songs, the overplayed video; yawn, yawn yawn... I hope Lana Del Rey, marries a nice investment banker and moves to, oh, I don't know, somewhere like Marina Del Rey where she can blend in with all the soccer moms, which is exactly what she was raised to be.
