Slide #3

The Traveling Salesman
The whole point of business attire is to look professional, right? Well, tell that to this airport regular, whose sweaty Merona dress shirt and mustard-stained Rayon tie bear the signs of hundreds of hours spent in Terminal B, waiting for the 1:45 to Toledo, jamming Auntie Anne's into his maw while on hold with Consolidated Brake Pads. None of this in itself is an issue, but a word of warning: these guys really, badly want some human interaction, and they absolutely do not care if you feel otherwise. One particularly intoxicated gentleman let me hear about everything from his impending divorce ("That lousy c--t took her new boyfriend to my Hawaii timeshare, with my money!"), to his desire to see China ("I wonder if when they talk, it really sounds like a whole bunch of silverware falling down, like ching chong ching chong"). Did I mention that we were on a flight to China? Should I Talk To This Guy? You won't have a choice.
