A Song to Get You In the Mood

Question number three, coming right up: What's up with this year's Globes' theme song? This year, the Golden Globes Awards is taking a hint from the television shows it's celebrating by debuting its very own theme song! In honor of the ceremony's 70th anniversary, classically-trained, multi-instrumentalist Yoshiki of rock group X-Japan composed and recorded the theme song.  You'll hear the tune as the show opens and throughout the broadcast; although the final recording features a full string orchestra, Yoshiki played a number of the track's instruments beforehand.
