Norah Jones & Billie Joe Armstrong- Foreverly
It is most certainly an unlikely match for contemporary jazz, blues, and folk singer Norah Jones to pair with the frontman of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong. The opposing pair have teamed up for a track-for-track tribute to the Everly Brothers' 1958 album, Songs Our Daddy Taught Us. Armstrong invited Jones to the project and enthusiastically, the duo recreated each song with their own interpretation and artistic collaboration, finishing with the title, Foreverly. Listen as contemporary sounds collide, reinventing soul music of the past.
