Shearwater- Fellow Travelers

A side project for singer/songwriter Jonathan Meiburg of Okkervil River, Shearwater has a quieter and gentle approach. In addition to Meiburg, the band includes Thor Harris, Kim Burke, and Lucas Oswald. To date, seven albums have released, leading up to the much anticipated, Fellow Travelers on Sub Pop Records. The album holds an interesting title, for each track is a re-imagining of songs by bands Shearwater has toured with. With a simple joy and blissfulness to each song choice, it seems they want to commemorate the friends and artists with whom they've traveled. Walk with Shearwater as they release their eighth album this month. Release Date: November 26th
