Other Details: The festivities continued Monday night at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel where AARP Magazine held it’s 11th Annual Movies for Grownups Awards Gala. Veteran actress Sharon Stone was presented a lifetime achievement award by Martin Scorsese and later told the press that she “must’ve died and gone to heaven,” referencing the fact that the legendary director presented her with the award. Other winners of the evening included Glenn Close, who was named Best Actress for her role in Albert Nobbs, and filmmaker Alexander Payne, who received the Chaise d’Or trophy for The Descendants.
