The Little Door
While we love both The Little Door and The Little Next Door, its more casual, more traditionally French-bistro-themed neighbor/offshoot which is also offering a DineLA Summer Restaurant Week menu, it's the flagship restaurant that has a reputation for being one of the most atmospheric and enchanting settings in Los Angeles. This, and the tantalizing French/North African menu, make The Little Door perhaps the best of all of these choices for a romantic evening that won't make you seem cheap despite the obvious prix fixe advantage. Besides, your date will be too delightfully full from dishes like cured sockeye salmon carpaccio and braised lamb shank with apricots, honey and almond (to say nothing of the pot de crème for dessert) that I don't think anyone will be complaining.
