Curren$y at The Observatory
The last time New Orleans weed rapper Curren$y was in town, he was on only one working leg, having broken his foot jumping off stage at Rock The Bells to greet fans. And while a stoned, crippled rapper might be a recipe for a boring or mailed in show for 9 of 10 rappers, "Spitta" came up with a hilariously creative idea, turning the stage into a living room, complete with couches, pillows, and plenty of sticky green, and he
still managed to kill it. Now he's back in town to promote his next official full album
The Stoned Immaculate (like Lil' Wayne, Drake, etc, he drops several 'unofficial' EPs/mixtapes a year), and if you missed him last night at the Henry Fonda, it's worth making the trip to Santa Ana.
