Borrowing her name from a 1985 Richard Donner movie that you've probably never seen (it stars Matthew Broderick and a bird), the Kiwi synth-princess with a sultry, retro sound continues to make people forget about her obscure namesake as she takes the stage at the EchoPlex on Monday night in support of her latest release, Anxiety (featuring the much-buzzed-about single, "Blue Eyes").
