Why The Clippers Will Be Better #6: The Fans
Clipper Darrell Okay, so historically, going to a Clippers game has kind of felt like being at a middle school play: sparsely attended, poorly executed, and if anyone was cheering too hard, you assumed they were related to a player. But all that is about to change: not only did every season ticket and partial season ticket package sell out in about 35 seconds after the CP3 deal, but between the die-hard fans getting their first real taste of extended victory and the bandwagon-jumpers enjoying the ride, the Staples Center should be rocking way harder for the Clip Show than it does with the typical come-late, leave-early business casual crowd that one encounters at a regular Lakers game. Of course, if the Clippers really do turn out to be the hotter ticket, all the douches will migrate over and price out the real fans just like they did to the Lakers, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. And Clipper Darrell? Nobody deserves this more than you, my friend.
