Frankly, to me Earthbar is a hoity-toity, less corporate Jamba Juice, except more expensive. But I know lots of people who buy into it and have no shame in paying $10 for one of their smoothies. The "whole body health" flagship in West Hollywood offers organic snacks, health supplements, vitamins, superfood smoothies, organic juices, and "raw" foods. Earthbar prides itself on being organic-er than thou and will also have you believe that their special blend of lemon juice and cayenne pepper (fancy!) in their wellness shots will heal you when you're sick and cure your hangover. I'm sorry, but don't you think if a mixture of basic products found at your local grocery store actually accomplished either of those things we would have figured that out by now given the advancements in modern medicine? I can also say that out of all the times I've called the doctor feeling sick asking what to do, not ONCE has he ever told me to take a wellness shot. Also, I already know what the cure for a hangover is: three Aleve, Gatorade, shitty pizza or a greasy breakfast burrito, and a big bowl of weed. Nonetheless, people are seriously sweating Earthbar so if you want to see what that's all about, you can find the flagship store in West Hollywood, and many Equinox gyms have little Earthbar boutiques inside.
