2. The Costumes
[Photo via] The fashion world has already readied itself for the release of The Great Gatsby, carpeting the runways with 1920s-inspired looks. They know how impressionable us movie-goers are to the gorgeous 3D stylings of costume designer Catherine Martin, who collaborated with Miuccia Prada for this film. From antique beading to dropped waist dresses, the women's wear is jaw-dropping. Karlie Kloss graced the latest issue of Vogue Australia donning a Daisy Buchannan-inspired Prada look. Men's fashion trends followed suit. Tie bars, pale colored suits, and horn-rimmed glasses have all made a not-so-coincidental resurgence all the way up to the Hermes runway. Brooks Brothers worked on the men's fashion and Tiffany & Co. contributed the jewels rounding out the powerhouse costume design team.
