2. Paul Oakenfold - $55 million
The man we call our #2 DJ refers to himself as, "a bedroom deejay." The British born jockey moved to New York and lied his way into hot clubs like Studio 54, claiming to be press, in order to interview and meet A-listers like Bobby Womack and Bob Marley. He later moved to West Harlem and was heavily influenced by hip-hop and broke his way into the mainstream by promoting and managing The Beastie Boys and Run D.M.C. Now DJ Paul Oakenfold can be found making film scores for blockbusters like The Bourne Identity.
