Marianne Faithfull
Certainly a creative in her own right, Marianne Faithfull met Mick Jagger at a Rolling Stones launch party in 1964. Already a performer by that point, Marianne's career skyrocketed after getting involved with the rockers. Rumor even has it that she carefully calculated a Rolling Stone relationship to gain exposure in the biz—and she sure did. Her first major release, "As Tears Go By," was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, setting off a series of hit singles (as well as securing her place at Jagger's side for four years).
The wide-eyed blonde kept her rock star frontman inspired throughout their tumultuous relationship, apparently providing him with the book The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, which sparked "Sympathy For The Devil."
Songs said to be about Marianne: The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want," "Wild Horses," and "Sister Morphine."
