Pattie Boyd
This baby-faced blonde stole hearts with her innocent charm, creating one of rock 'n' roll's most infamous love triangles (and inspiring a few of rock's greatest love songs).
Pattie met Beatle George Harrison in 1964 after being cast as a schoolgirl fan in A Hard Day's Night. Harrison apparently began his flirtation with Pattie by asking, "Will you marry me? Well, if you won't marry me, will you have dinner with me tonight?" The couple married in 1966 and remained together for a decade, during which Pattie's interest in Eastern religions had a huge impact on the band, who themselves became involved in Indian mysticism.
In the late '60s, Harrison formed a friendship with fellow rocker Eric Clapton, who in turn fell in love with Pattie. He declared his love for her in 1970 with the hit song "Layla," but wouldn't get his dream girl until 1979, two years after she divorced Harrison, once again becoming the first wife of a rock star.
Songs said to be written about Pattie: The Beatles' "I Need You," and "Something," Eric Clapton's "Layla," and "Wonderful Tonight."
