The Costume Institute’s Spring 2015 Exhibition at Metropolitan Museum focuses on Chinese imagery in art, film and fashion. The spring exhibit, China: Through the Looking Glass, is presented in the Museum’s Chinese Galleries and Anna Wintour Custome Center and explores the impact of Chinese aesthetics on Western fashion and how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries. The exhibit includes Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, including films to showcase Chinese imagery. Now through August 16, 2015.
