RETNA

RETNA
LA based RETNA is the next artist on our list. RETNA began making street art in high school because he was drawn to the rich Los Agneles graffiti scene. His work is urban and often inspired by calligraphy. He took over the Bowery space in March of 2012. The mural featured his signature calligraphic style in blue and red. He designed a cashmere and silk stole for Louis Vuitton, available in two colors (purple and blue). The print is own calligraphic take on their iconic logo. This isn't the first time RETNA has worked with LV. In October of 2012, he went to Miami to design the facade of their temporary space in the design district. [Photo via, via, via]
