Aiko

Aiko
Aiko is a Japanese-born, Brooklyn-based artist who been featured on the Bowery Wall twice. Her first time working on the wall was in 2011 as part of the collective, FAILE. Her solo mural went up in July of 2012, marking the first time a solo woman was featured on the wall. She is know for fusing traditional Japanese icons with contemporary pop-art and her mural was no exception. It was fun and feminine - part of it even reads "Fun for Everyone." Her Louis Vuitton silk square scarf is very true to her style. It features a kaleidoscope of women and flowers, and it even incorporates Louis Vuitton's famous cheetah print. [Photo via, via
