Susana Bluhm, I Slept, But My Heart Was Awake

Susana Bluhm, I Slept, But My Heart Was Awake
Vibrantly illustrating the sentiments behind the "Song of Solomon," Susanna Bluhm creates colorful, abstracted landscapes which, together, tell a story about love. Though the themes may be Biblical, they are certainly still relevant to the painter herself, who calls the series a "love song to [her] wife and son." An artist reception for this exhibition will be held October 10, from 6-8 pm When: October 10-November 15 Where: Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, 529 West 20th Street [Photo via]
