David Adamo at UNTITLED

David Adamo at UNTITLED
David Adamo plays with his viewer's sense of perspective in his second installation at UNTITLED gallery. The enormity of termite mounds are scaled down when created by a human hand, as opposed to the tiny insects' massive structures as found in nature. The idea that the termite mound was also used by NASA as a model for human habitats on Mars also prompted the artist to explore the fundamental elements of organic living environments, for both base insects and futuristic humans alike.
