Yayoi Kusama, I Who Have Arrived In Heaven
With her colorful career spanning the past 60 years, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is easily one of the most exciting artists of the modern age. This month, she will unveil over 30 new paintings, two mirrored infinity rooms, and a video installation at David Zwirner's other gallery space. Vibrant and animated, Kusama's pieces portray her connection to the cosmos and often end up becoming little universes unto themselves.
