Why is it so great?

So why is sugaring so superior to other waxing methods? Well, for one, and I don't say this lightly because, despite my five tattoos, I have a very low tolerance for pain, it barely hurt. Sure, this could easily be credited to the quality and artfulness of my expert esthetician, but the method and even temperature of the goo all resulted in a less tear-inducing experience. There are no strips involved, so the substance itself is applied and removed, similar to hard waxing. After the initial *ahh my tiny hairs are being pulled out of my skin* realization, the process goes on quite smoothly. Pun, perhaps, intended.

The aftermath? No bruising, no bleeding, no ingrown hairs. Of course, skin's tendency to do any of that varies from person to person, but (TMI) I've always been prone to some sensitivity. Voilà, nothing, just a totally silky downstairs area.

The best part of course, is telling people you just got a sugar wax. Seriously, text your boy-toy afterwards and see what happens. Happy hair removing, y'all!
