Rae Morris on Makeup: I’m not usually a fan of the blue eye shadow on a woman...who’s not a teenager. However if you want to wear it, this is a great way to do so. Smoking it up around the lash line gives the blue eye shadow more definition. I personally would have kept to the matte shades as opposed to shimmer (as matte diminishes fine lines) but I love how SJP kept the rest nude and simple. Also, a tip with smokey eyes is not to blend too high up in the brow bone but keep it low and close to the lash line whilst lining the inner eye (water line). This will lift the eye and give more of a cat eye effect. Another important pointer is to avoid using shimmer on the brow bone as it makes that area look puffy. A final tip: do your eye makeup first. Don’t worry about any fall out or mistakes as these can be fixed prior to applying your eye shadow! If blue shades are not for you, use grey. Mitch Razzano on Hair: Apply a smoothing product to wet hair (such as Senscience smoothing gel), then comb through and dry hair straight and smooth with a large round brush followed by a paddle brush to de-frizz. Secure hair up high into a ponytail, split ponytail into two sections. Lift each section slightly to tease hair then brush smooth-this will give the poof look. Secure each section with bobby pins below the base of the ponytail on the right and left. Spray the whole look with a firm hold hairspray to help it stay the night, such as Moroccan Oil Firm Hold. Optional is the flower clip that she has added to the side or you can add your own fun accessory!
