Topics of conversation
Depending on your school, there are some overriding topics that fit many NYU students. Here are some suggestions of things to talk about: films (NYU students love films, even those who aren't in Tisch, bad movies, good movies - they just like to talk movies in general), up and coming music (there are very many aspiring bands at NYU), and blogging (NYU kids are very up to date on their blogs).
