Career
For the past decade, Nate Lowman's work, which includes paintings, sculptures, and installations, has been exhibited at the MoMA, The New Museum, and Maccarone Gallery. He has worked with artists such as Dan Colen, Adam McEwen, and Hanna Liden. His art, which is presented through more traditional mediums of alkyd or oil on canvas and silkscreens to non-traditional means such as sugar and dirt on canvas, plastic bags, and horseshoe pitches, are supposed to reflect on American culture and society and even the concept of celebrity, something he is no stranger to.
