Don't Misrepresent Yourself

Don't say you write for the New York Times. Unless you do. Not only is it seriously tacky to misrepresent yourself, but it could cause some serious legal issues, too. And what if the doorman asks for your press pass? FML moment, right? Right. So don't try to become in insider by pretending you're someone you're not. It always catches up to you, and then you're more than an outsider--you're an outlaw. [Photo via]
