[Photo via]What are your earliest fashion memories?I remember sitting at my dining room table sewing a dress with my mother. She went to bed, and I put my first zipper in by myself and the next morning she had no idea how I put a zipper in. I think that’s kinda cool because I never learned at the beginning, you know, making clothes, I never really knew how to make things properly. And then, I learned as the years progressed, and I think that’s kind of interesting- the progression from the first dress to what we create now. It’s so fun, especially for a young designer like myself. You know, this is my 10th season, so it’s so great to see how it progresses.Are there any designers from Project Runway now that you think have really got it?It’s hard, you know? Because I think they’re all different in their own worlds and everybody’s doing their own thing. I think what Chloe Dao does, will be pretty successful for a specific market.
