The Zimmermann sisters never disappoint us - Nicky's inspiration came from India, from colors and patterns of the adornments and fabrics: It was about wanting to do a full collection, very much about color and silk, very optimistic. The collection is called "Mirror Mirror."
Taking elements from travels and interpreting them in collections was the go-to strategy for most designers next season. It's about interpreting them in different ways, as Nicky and Simone did, with embroidered mirrors and a cool boho-chic vibe. Even the accessories were in line with the hippie days, as Nicky explains, "We have done a boot and I think it's great. They're woven and have a bit of a platform, quite colorful. I love our earrings we've done and they add something to the outfit. The accessories are full on this season, and we even did print stockings that were the same print as the garment."
