The bandage dress isn't going anywhere. Instead, it's changing and Lubov Azria is directly responsible for it. She refers to herself and her team as scientific nerds because they're constantly looking at new techniques and other ways they can work with knits, whether it's a drop stitch or crochet, experimenting with different yarns and trying in different ways to recreate similar silhouettes.
"Herve Leger is associated with glamour, sensuality, and being unforgettable," Lubov says backstage before her show, "This time around we wanted to give it a little turn, a little twist and make it more alternative, different with a rock and roll edge. We're never going go get away from the knitting, Herve is only knits not wovens. That's in our DNA. We have some elements next season that stand out, like chains and jackets - we are trying to do more lifestyle too, it's a cool collection. I love these boots we made, they are so comfortable. I think shoes have to be comfortable, I'm tired of just sitting in them."
