The Blonds
Phillip and David are masters at production, and their shows have quickly become our favorite every season. There's only a handful of designers who are brave enough to seduce and impress on the runway. That's why we paid close attention this year when we found out the theme would be Alice in Wonderland. Pink dreads bobbed along with the colorful corsets and curve hugging dresses. As Phillipe puts it, "We're taking you on a journey down the rabbit hole, there's a lot of pink - we're showing you our pink." And what about the pink dreads? "The hair was inspired by Miley," asswers David. "If her and FKA Twigs had a love child, and Lisa Bonet. There's that Bond Hardware choker, the fingerless gloves by Majesty Black, and custom Louboutins (with wings along the back sides)." The show was lacking one thing - diversity. We'd love to see more color on the runway.
