Why: Continuing the them of genre-blending is Denitia and Sene, a duo who compose beautiful but hard to categorize songs straight out of Brooklyn. Denitia is a gifted soul singer, and Sene is rapper, and naturally they yield hip-hop tinged, electronic R&B and soul music together. The duo hit the perfect groove at Prabal Gurung's after-party at Up&Down and we imagine they'll only get bigger after such a major event.
