Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute showcases more than 35,000 costumes and accessories from over five continents and seven centuries. The costumes include fashionable dress, regional costumes and accessories for men, women, and children from the fifteenth century to the present. The museum's latest must-see exhibition is "Masterworks: Unpacking Fashion" which runs from November 18 through February 5. The exhibit will feature 60 significant acquisitions of the past ten years and explore how these pieces have changed the course of fashion from the early 18th century to present-day.
