Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld have been an 'item' for as long as she's been insisting on Chanel sunglasses to go between her bob. Their creative union is one of the many relationships Anna has cultivated over her career, the catalyst for important events in the fashion sphere including the Met Gala.

Chanel's Metiers d'Art Runway Show occurred this past December in front of a slew of celebrities and prominent regional clients of the house. The event coincided with the Neiman Marcus Award for Distinguished Service in the field of Fashion - originally presented to Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel in 1957 - being presented to Lagerfeld by Wintour at the department store's flagship location.
