What if... I don't like oysters?

We get it - though we are evidently purists, we recognize that oysters are certainly an acquired taste. But we also think they're a taste that everyone should acquire. There are many easy antidotes to oyster aversion, the most effective of which involve easing yourself into loving their brine. First, try a fried or roasted version; most come with some decadently distracting sauce. Next, move on to milder, like Blue Points, or smaller, like Beausoleil, raw oysters. Soon you'll be tossing back $1 oysters after work like you never thought they were too slimy for your liking.
