An almost scientifically written dissection of where to find the best of the best when it comes to such New York staples as the black and white cookie, or, the almost too iconic, 'Hey, I'm walkin' here,' pastrami. For those who love themselves a little foodie history, this book is your bible. Seriously, prepare to become one of the most annoyingly educated eaters, like, could easily write a book report on the origins of pizza on the Lower East Side kind of annoying. All the same, definitely an interesting read.
