Best meal you've ever had?
When I was a child, my parents and I went on a road trip in Saudi Arabia to Oman. I remember pulling over to a roadside gas station in the middle of the desert dunes. There was this hole in the wall, and we were starving. The Pakistani family there invited us into the back where they were cooking. We sat down with them and I remember just being totally floored. It was a kind biryani with mounds of rice and some kind of meat, maybe it was goat. I just remember it being phenomenal. It was about a dollar. Extraordinary.
