NYC Pride 2012
Now one year later it's time to celebrate the legalization of gay marriage in New York, to commemorate the Stonewall Riots, and celebrate how far the LGBT community has come both across the country and in New York. The march is described as an annual civil rights demonstration and it begins at 12:00 this Sunday at 36th and 5th avenue. The 2012 grand marshals are Cyndi Lauper, Chris Salgardo (the president of Kiehl's), Phyllis Siegal, and Connie Copelov. The parade ends at Christopher and Greenwich Street where the party will continue into the wee hours of the morning. It's not something you'll want to miss as the West village will be a love filled, technicolor, dream. So forget brunch this Sunday and get your pride on!
