You have a house in Montauk and had two stores out in the Hamptons this summer, which I'm sure keeps you busy. Is planning such a large-scale show during the summer more difficult during the summer than during the year?
It’s really not fair! My two busiest times are August and December/January. While everyone else is having fun the entire fashion world is on lock down preparing for shows.
Can you talk about where some of the inspiration for the collection you showed last week came from?
Not to sound too meta but I was inspired by the idea of a celebration in this building tucked away in downtown NYC with beautiful girls, cool clothes, glossy make up, and confetti sprinkled hair---just what I hope everyone experienced.
