Now how did you end up getting your own weekly party at Le Baron? How did the start?Well, I jokingly said to a friend how I wanted to start a gay night because the gay nights in New York... I like them don't get me wrong... but there's not a chic one. So then Karl's (the guy from the perfume store), boyfriend knew the manager at Le Baron and they had dinner with her one night. She mentioned that she was thinking of throwing a gay night. And Karl started laughing and said it's so funny you say that because a friend of mine was just talking about wanting to throw a gay night at Le Baron. And this was maybe in August or September.That's how fast this process was? Yes so then, the manager calls me up 3 days in advance and says to me, "If you have time, can you meet with all of the managing partners and talk about what you have planned for your night?" So, in true Parsons form, I created a 20 page presentation with an About Me section, a budget plan, a mood board, and everything.I thought I did so bad with the presentation. The lighting is red inside Le Baron. I was so red in the face that if the lighting hadn't been so red, you would've been able to tell how nervous I was. So then they were like "Ok we love it" and then they were like "Ok, do it."
