Great! What are you looking forward to most at the upcoming gala?
I’m really excited to hear Nan Hauser speak. She’s such a fantastic shining light in this battle for animals. I’ve never actually heard her speak and apparently she’s a very powerful speaker. So I’m looking forward to that. But it’s also very interesting to me to be in a room with all the people who have been working closely [with this issue]…there are also a lot of parties from around the world, because this will help a lot of NGOs get secure funding, so there are a lot of people whose work I’ve been interested in who will finally be together in one room. It’s going to be exciting to get all these people talking about this one issue, opening up lines of communication between NGOs. Communication is the key between all the different facets of what people do, their research, and their projects.
