Goldbar Re-Opening

So tell me about some of the changes at Goldbar. SR: One of the first main physical changes you see is the removal of the steps by the bar. The original bar was set up as a chef's tasting table, and there were steps leading up to that. We ripped those out and made it the ground level, which opens up the room a lot. Additionally, there were a substantial amount of curtains throughout the room which we decided to take down, and we also added wood tables in the front to go along with our new cocktail program. The other major physical change is the movement of the DJ booth. There was a closed wall which we opened up to move the DJ front and center. Curtis Kulig did the installation behind the DJ booth.  Goldbar has always been on the cutting edge of music, and pushing forward ahead of the trends, so it was important to highlight the DJ by bringing him to the center and giving him full view of the entire room.  We also have a little VIP section for people who want a little bit of privacy but still want to have access to viewing all the action.
"It's a standby, where you say 'Let's just go to Goldbar' when you're over the programming of other places because it's the same old thing.  You always know you that you can come here, and it's going to be something different, always going to be a diverse crowd, where you're not going to see everyone who looks like you." - Steve Kasuba, Publicist
