Do you think social media and camera phones have hindered the nightclub experience?

Do you think social media and camera phones have hindered the nightclub experience?
Up&DownMG: I think it's part of the times. It's a reality. You can fight it and tell people to put away their cameras, but at the end of the day it's something that is a part of what everyday culture is. EK: You can't fight the future. MG: How seriously do you want to take these things? EK: I think personally, it does hurt the experience. Saying I want to document this instead of saying I want to be a part of this takes you out of the actual experience that you're having. Now with that being said, we look back at the pictures now of Area or Studio 54, and those are really amazing, and that's what we have. People are posing and they're having a great time. So it takes away from the experience in some ways, and it adds to the experience in other ways.
